This is a very useful and interesting post.It has importance for the science of education and pedagogy. Relates to the neural basics that sustain the best educational behaviour.
Apraxia should be, I suppose, the expression of damage in the second type of memory, the Procedural memory. That which has a different neural pathway as mentioned in the post.

Language and speech are handled by the brain’s procedural learning system. The procedural learning pathways for learning language though are different than the procedural learning pathways controlling speech motor systems. So, apraxia may be caused by damage in various areas of the brain.
